WEEKLY HITS COUNTOWN (For the Week Ending On March 24, 2007)

Nuevamente es jueves y con este día llega la más reciente entrega del Weekly Hits Countdown. En el primer lugar de la semana no hay cambio y por segunda ocasión consecutiva Akon está en el tope con Don’t Matter, tercer sencillo de su álbum Konvicted.

Con grandes saltos, Amy Winehouse se convierte en la gran ganadora de esta semana. Tan sólo a un paso de la cima se queda con Rehab, que subió del 8 al 2 en su quinta aparición en el Weekly Hits Countdown. El más alto debut de la semana pasada, You Know I’m No Good subió 20 puestos del 34 al 14 y, finalmente, Back To Black, el tercer tema de Winehouse en el conteo, dio el más grande salto de esta entrega, al moverse del 49 hasta el 21.

Otros movimientos importantes fueron protagonizados por Beyonce y Shakira que ya están en el 11 con Beautiful Liar, Standing On The Way Of Control de The Gossip que subió 12 al 25, Good Charlotte con Keep Your Hands Off My Girl 10 hacia delante al 28 y Pink con Leave Me Alone que se movió del 45 al 36.

Cuatro nuevas canciones debutaron esta semana en el Weekly Hits Countdown, comandadas por The Venonicas, que están de regreso con We Are Not Going To Take It, cover the Quiet Riot, en el puesto 43. La banda canadiense Dragonette hace su debut en el 45 con I Get Around, Fall Out Boy ingresa en el 47 con su más reciente tema promocional Thnks Fr Th Mmrs y, finalmente, Lost Without U de Robin Thicke entra en el 49.
